Fog is causing problems in the Springfield area as a Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until Noon Thursday.
The Springfield-Branson National Airport says a number of airlines cancelled flights to and from Springfield Wednesday night due to the thick fog.
American Airlines originally said it was ceasing Springfield flights until at least 10:00 a.m. Thursday, but a check of the arrivals/departures pages of the Springfield-Branson National Airport’s website, shows two American Airlines flights had already departed SGF by 5:30 Thursday morning.
Fog also gets the blame for a crash on I-44 at mile marker 75 near West Bypass on Wednesday.
