The State Senate budget committee has started efforts to restore $51 million to the childcare subsidy program, which had been cut from the budget.
State Rep. Betsy Fogle expressed her satisfaction with the Senate’s move to reinstate this funding to OzarksFirst news.
Fogle noted that an amendment she proposed, intended to restore the funding, did not pass before the budget reached the Senate.
She emphasized that this initiative is a collective effort involving state senators and aligns with the wishes of Governor Mike Kehoe.
