Fox News has projected that Mike Kehoe is the winner of the governor’s race.
Fox says Lt. Governor Kehoe will defeat challenger Democrat State Representative Minority Leader Crystal Quade in the race to replace out-going Governor Mike Parson.
Lt. Governor Kehoe made public safety a key issue in his campaign.
He was endorsed by both Governor Parson and Former President Trump.
In a statement, Crystal Quade said, “While today’s results weren’t what we hoped for, I’m immensely honored by the support our campaign received throughout our state. However, hope is not lost. I’m proud of and thankful for the hundreds of thousands of Missourians who gathered signatures, talked to their neighbors, worked, and voted to restore our reproductive freedom. I have called Governor-Elect Kehoe to congratulate him and I wish him the best of luck.”
