Gainesville, Missouri Woman Arrested for Animal Cruelty

A local woman has been arrested in Florida after four dogs died in her car.

25-year-old Tesia White is now facing four counts of felony animal cruelty after she stopped for lunch at a New Smyrna Beach, Florida restaurant.

White told authorities that she went outside once during her meal to check on the dogs and they were fine. However, when she returned to her car after eating, all four dogs were dead.

The dogs were a four-year-old Goldendoodle, a two-year-old Boxer and two 12-week-old Goldendoodle puppies.

She also told authorities she had left the air conditioning on in the car.

White is being held in Florida on a $10,000 bond.
