What We Know: Governor Mike Kehoe says he will not call a special legislative session to address data centers.

What It Means: Kehoe says protections are already in place requiring large energy users to pay for the power they use and the infrastructure needed to provide it, rather than passing those costs along to residential ratepayers.

What’s Next: Lawmakers return to Jefferson City next week for the annual veto session.
