The measures will be addressing taxes, county governance, and the state initiative process.

What We Know: Proposals include extending a state park and conservation sales tax for 10 years.

What It Means: Voters will also determine whether to change the initiative petition process to require both a statewide majority and majority support across all congressional districts.

What’s Next: A final measure could phase out individual income taxes based on revenue growth, mandating property tax cuts while protecting school funding.

Governor Kehoe noted the August placement aids legislative preparation; any subsequent qualifiers will appear on the November ballot.
