What We Know: Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe will deliver the 2026 State of the State address during a sold-out event hosted by the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, July 29, at Great Southern Bank Arena on the Missouri State University campus.
What It Means: Doors open at 11 a.m., with the program beginning at 11:30 a.m. The governor is expected to speak at approximately 12:25 p.m.
During the keynote address, Kehoe is expected to discuss Missouri’s current priorities, along with the opportunities and challenges facing the state.
Topics will include strengthening the economy, supporting workforce development, investing in critical infrastructure, and helping communities continue to grow over the long term.
What’s Next: The annual State of the State event brings together business leaders, elected officials, educators, and community members from across southwest Missouri to hear the governor’s outlook and legislative priorities for the year ahead.
Organizers say the event is sold out to the public.
