Two people are injured, and the suspected shooter is dead following a shooting at a mobile home park northwest of Springfield.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the Lakewood Mobile Home Park around 7:30 Tuesday morning.
When deputies arrived, they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both were taken to a Springfield hospital. Authorities say their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Deputies also found the suspected shooter dead at the scene from what investigators believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says there is no ongoing threat to the public.
