What We Know: Greene County voters can begin casting no-excuse absentee ballots Tuesday, July 21, ahead of the Aug. 4 primary election.
What It Means: Eligible voters may vote absentee in person through Monday, Aug. 3, without needing to provide a reason.
The primary ballot includes federal, state and local races, along with four statewide ballot measures and a tax question for Ash Grove voters.
What’s Next: Absentee voting is available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Greene County Archives, 1126 North Boonville Avenue in Springfield.
The site will also be open Saturday, Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A second voting location at the Library Center on South Campbell Avenue will also be open beginning July 21. It will follow regular weekday hours and will also be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Voters casting absentee ballots in person must bring an acceptable photo ID.
Anyone planning to vote by mail must qualify under one of Missouri’s approved absentee voting reasons.
