What We Know: A famous piece of Missouri history could soon get some added national recognition.
What It Means: The Senate has passed Senator Josh Hawley’s bill to make America’s National Churchill Museum in Fulton a National Historic Landmark.
The bill already passed the House and now heads to President Trump’s desk.
What’s Next: The museum is at Westminster College, where Winston Churchill delivered his famous “Iron Curtain” speech in 1946.
Hawley says the designation would recognize Missouri’s place in an important chapter of Cold War history.
