Highway 76 north of Hollister has had its fair share of problems, but plans are being made to fix any further issues.

According to MoDOT, replacement plans have been made for sometime next spring, and the sections needing construction will be closed for at least 4 months.

MoDOT officials say that without these replacements, it’s only a matter of time before the road collapses; and though the bridge is a ways off from losing its integrity, officials want to maintain it as a precaution.

To stay up-to-date on the latest news and progress on these Highway 76 repairs, you can get updates on MoDOT’s project webpage.
