The owner of a renowned cosmetology school in Missouri has announced the institution is closing its doors.
The Missouri School of Cosmetology, located in Springfield, was officially closed on Monday, March 13, according to owner Jeff Stanley.
He says that due to COVID-19, enrollment at the trade school has been fallen in recent years, making the process of keeping the school open much more difficult.
The school will be refunding payments made by students for credit hours that they did not receive.
