Fire has damaged a house in West central Springfield early Monday morning.
The fire started shortly after 8 a.m. at a home in the 400 block of South Grant, just South of Walnut Street.
No one was in the home when the fire started.
The roof partially collapsed as fire crews worked to bring the flames under control.
The fire marshall is investigating the cause of the fire.
