Hunters Harvested Fewer Black Bears In Second MO Bear Hunting Season

The Missouri Department of Conservation says hunters harvested less black bears this year than last year

Hunters harvested eight black bears during the bears season, which ran from October 17 to October 26.

During last’s years inaugural season hunters harvested twelve black bears.
