The heat and humidity will continue in the Ozarks Monday, with isolated showers and thunderstorms possible in the afternoon and evening.

The National Weather Service says most areas will remain dry, and the best chance for pop-up thunderstorms is along and east of Highway 65.

Storms that do develop may contain cloud to ground lightning and brief, heavy downpours.

Severe weather is not expected.
