93.3 KWTO Keeping Watch Over the Ozarks
After nearly a week-long construction project to repair a sinkhole, James River Freeway is back open in Springfield.
In a social media post Thursday afternoon, MoDOT announced that the portion of Highway 60 was reopened after the last rounds of cement were poured.
Engineers were waiting for the surface to reach the desired levels before reopening the roadway.
The project was completed ahead of schedule.
