What We Know: A possible school shooting in southern Missouri has been stopped before anyone was hurt.
What It Means: The Shannon County Sheriff’s Office says a juvenile is in custody after authorities received what they call a credible shooting threat at Eminence High School.
School officials contacted 911 and placed the campus on a precautionary lockdown.
Deputies arrived, secured the building, and took the juvenile into custody without incident.
No shots were fired, and no one was injured.
