Last Day of Heat Advisory Monday

It’s one last day of a Heat Advisory for the Ozarks, with heat index readings up to 100 to 105 Monday afternoon.

The National Weather Service says an isolated strong to severe thunderstorm may develop Monday afternoon along and east of Highway 65, with a chance for winds of 50 to 60 miles per hour.

But most areas will stay dry .Relief is on the way by midweek, with temps finally dropping off a bit.
