A man from Ava, MO has been charged with multiple sex crimes after he allegedly sexually abused two underaged girls over a three-year span.
According to court dockets, James Inman is charged with four counts of first-degree sodomy and four counts of first-degree statutory rape.
The probable cause statement says that a Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a location in Ava back in July to meet with the two sexual assault victims.
One victim told the officer that Inman had bought her alcohol when she was 14 or 15 and sexually assaulted at his residence in Webster County.
Another victim told law enforcement that Inman had intercourse with her around 50-100 times when she was 12 until she was 14.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office interviewed Inman yesterday, where he denied any sexual contact with either victim but provided information that aligned with specific times and places that the victims mentioned in their statements.
He’s currently booked in the Douglas County Jail, but court dockets do not show when he’s due in court.
