What We Know: A Branson man is dead following a single-car crash in Taney County.
What It Means: The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 11:20 Friday night on Highway 376, just west of Branson.
Troopers say the 60-year-old man drove off the road, went airborne, and hit a tree.
He died at the scene.
It’s the 98th traffic fatality this year in the Highway Patrol’s Troop D region.
