Man from Camdenton Dead Following Car Crash Involving a Tree

A man from Camdenton is dead after the car he was driving went off-road and hit a tree head-on.

Highway Patrol Troopers say 53-year-old Kirk Rogers was driving on Route D near Tonka Spring Road at around 5:00 p.m. Monday afternoon when he went off the side of the road and crashed into the tree.

Authorities arrived, and pronounced him dead at the scene about half an hour later.

Rogers’ next of kin was notified, and his body was transported to the Allee Holman-Howe Funeral Home.

MSHP Troop D says this is the unit’s eighth traffic fatality in 2024 so far.
