A man from Marionville, James William Roper (56) who was charged with possession of child pornography and furnishing pornography to a minor has been sentenced to seven years in state prison and one year in the Lawrence County jail on Tuesday in the Lawrence County Circuit Court.
The prison sentence was on the possession charge and the jail sentence was for furnishing pornography to a seventeen year old girl.
He was also assigned to a 120-day “Shock Time” program for sex offenders in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
