A man from Republic is dead following a single-car crash along State Highway 14.
Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol say 37-year-old Christopher Bell was travelling along the highway north of Marionville Sunday afternoon when his SUV went off the right side of the road and hit a sign.
The crash caused the car to flip, which threw him from the vehicle.
Bell was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is the 45th traffic death of 2024 for MSHP Troop D.
