A man from Springfield is now awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to stealing catalytic converters.
Investigators say 39-year-old John Griffith stole two catalytic converters with the help of another man in 2021.
A resident at a set of apartment on Kentwood discovered he and another man stealing the converter of his car and reported them to police.
Officers later pulled the car over and arrested the men, finding drugs, multiple catalytic converters, pipe cutters and reciprocating saws.
Griffith will be officially sentenced on November 1 of this year.
