A man from Lebanon has pleaded guilty and was sentenced Monday in the fatal shooting of his girlfriend.
Under a plea agreement, Dillon Bacon (26) pleaded guilty to amended charges of second degree murder and was sentenced to 22 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections according to online court records.
The incident occurred on April 16, 2022 when the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office responded to an area northeast of Lebanon and found Megan Glasser with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Glasser was Bacon’s girlfriend and they were living together. The two were arguing when the shooting occured.
Bacon and two other relatives of his were on the scene when authorities arrived. He was initially charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action but those charges were amended per the plea agreement.
