What We Know: If you’re looking for a job or thinking about a career change, there’s an opportunity coming up in Springfield.
What It Means: The Missouri Association of Manufacturers is hosting a free career fair Friday, October 16th, at Ozarks Tech.
Organizers say several area manufacturers are looking to hire hundreds of workers.
What’s Next: Job seekers can meet employers face-to-face and learn about available positions.
The event runs from 10 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon at the Robert W. Plaster Center for Advanced Manufacturing.
And there’s a bonus. Attendees will have a chance to win a pair of steel-toed work boots.
