The Stone County Prosecutor’s Office has charged a man under the new Valentine’s Law for fleeing law enforcement.
Court records say 28-year-old Toney Kyger of Marionville is charged with three felonies, including aggravated fleeing a stop or detention.
A deputy tried to stop Kyger near Crane, but he allegedly sped away, eventually driving onto private property and striking the back porch of a house.
He got out of his car and tried to steal the deputy’s car.
He was arrested and taken to the Stone County Jail.
