Mercy Hospital in Springfield has been recognized in Newsweek’s 2026 list of the best maternity hospitals in the United States.
It ranks among seven Missouri hospitals featured on the list, including five other Mercy hospitals, including three in Missouri and one in northwest Arkansas.
The Springfield hospital experienced a record number of births in 2025.
