What we know: Millions of dollars are being spent by campaigns both for and against Amendment 3 on the November ballot.
What it means: The amendment would ban most abortions in the state except for cases of rape and incest, emergencies and fetal anomalies. The group Her Health, Her Future supports Amendment 3 and reports raising more than $5 million mostly from in -state donors. Stop the Ban opposes the measure and reports nearly $27 million in donations, nearing the $30 million spent to support the abortion ballot measure in 2024.
What’s next: Voters will head to the polls on November 3 to decide on the amendment.
