The Springfield Police Department have reported that a missing man from Springfield has been found dead.
Michael Edward Cook (73) disappeared from and area in the 1500 block of West Lindberg street on Wednesday. His body was found near the 3200 block of West Sunshine by police on Friday June 12th.
Police say Mr. Cook had made some concerning statements to his family before leaving his residence on Wednesday. He failed to arrive at his destination, and failed to make contact with his family.
No foul play is suspected in this case, however Springfield Police are continuing to investigate the situation.
