Missouri A-G’s Lawsuit Against Springfield Public Schools Set For Trial in November

A lawsuit filed by the Missouri Attorney General’s Office against the Springfield R-12 School District will go to trial later this year.

The suit was filed in 2021 by then-Attorney General Eric Schmitt.

The lawsuit accuses the school district of violating the state Sunshine Law after the Attorney General’s Office requested records relating Critical Race Theory.

The trial is scheduled to begin November 25th.
