Missouri Federal Judge Dismisses Student Loan Forgiveness Suit

A federal judge in Missouri has dismissed a lawsuit against the Biden administration’s student loan forgiveness program.

The suit was filed by six states, including Missouri and Arkansas.

U.S. District Judge Henry Autrey ruled the six states had failed to prove they had standing, so the court did not have jurisdiction to hear the case.

The office of the Attorney General for Nebraska says the states will appeal the ruling.
