The Missouri House has sent senators a new piece of legislation that seeks to overturn the narrowly-approved Amendment 3, enshrining abortion in the state Constitution.
If it makes it through the Senate, you could see the measure on the ballot in 2026.
The proposal would repeal Amendment 3, but allow abortions for medical emergencies fatal fetal anomalies, and for survivors of rape and incest in the first 12 weeks of gestation.
