What We Know: Missouri high school seniors planning to continue their education in agriculture or other fields can earn scholarship money.

What It Means: The Missouri State Fair and its Youth in Agriculture Committee are now accepting scholarship applications from students graduating in 2027.

To qualify, students must be active in Missouri 4-H or FFA and have exhibited at least once at the Missouri State Fair. They must also plan to attend an accredited college, university, community college or technical school after graduation.

Last year, the program awarded 62 scholarships totaling nearly $120,000.

And here’s an important change this year. Applications must be submitted by email only to mostatefair@mda.mo.gov.

The deadline is January 15th, 2027.
