What We Know: A motorcyclist has died following a crash involving a pickup truck in northeast Springfield.
What It Means: Springfield Police say the crash happened just after 9 Monday morning at Kearney Street and Patterson Avenue, across from the Bass Pro Shops Base Camp.
What’s Next: Investigators say the motorcycle was traveling west on Kearney. A pickup was heading east in the center lane and preparing to turn onto Patterson when the crash happened.
The motorcyclist died from their injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Police are still investigating exactly what led to the crash.
