What We Know: The National Weather Service found that several low-topped supercells developed and produced a few tornadoes across the area.

They confirmed Monday that one EF-0 tornado formed near Battlefield at around 6:40 p.m. and traveled less than half a mile.

Wednesday morning they confirmed four more that formed in the area Sunday. Another EF-0 tornado touched down between Spokane and Highlandville in Christian County but only traveled for 0.2 miles.

The three others were classified as EF-1 tornadoes. One with a max width of 250 yards traveled less than half a mile in Southeast Tigris.

One that traveled over two miles near Sparta uprooted trees and damages a couple of homes. The biggest of the night was in western Douglas County, being 400 yards in width and traveling 2.4 miles.

What It Means: The damage from the storms cam mostly in the form of down trees and branches. Buildings in the area suffered only minor damages.
