Nixa city leaders are considering $20 million in bonds for water system improvements.

The new projects include a new water tower on Ashley Drive to enhance pressure and capacity for the R-D-E system, a larger West Regional Lift Station near Gooch Drive, and an expansion of the sludge storage basin to hold an additional 700,000 gallons.

Council approval would lead to annual payments for 20 years.
