Nixa Police arrested a wanted man after a brief standoff.
Officers went to a house on Hillcrest Avenue to serve a man a warrant for a felony probation violation.
Investigators say the man would not come to the door when they knocked.
They waited until they received a warrant to enter the home.
The man then surrendered without incident.
Nixa Junior High was place in secure mode during the incident.
