UPDATE: Nixa Police Cancel Endangered Person Advisory; Missing Man Found Safe

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Burnett was found and returned safely to the residential care facility. The details of his disappearance and discovery have not been released.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Nixa Police Department is searching for a man who went missing from a residential care facility.

Officers say 20-year-old Kyle Burnett, was last seen leaving the facility on West Vintage Lane Monday night.

He is described as 5’11”, 240 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a Kansas City Chiefs jacket and black pants when he left the building.

Burnett is considered and endangered person due to an autism diagnosis. Investigators believe he may be heading to or already in the Springfield area.
