What We Know: A 25-year-old man from Parkville drowned Saturday afternoon at Table Rock Lake.
What It Means: The Missouri State Patrol says the man was swimming from the shoreline near Moonshine Beach around 1:20 Saturday afternoon when he began struggling and disappeared beneath the water.
The Water Patrol says he did not resurface and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was not wearing a personal flotation device.
