Springfield Police say a pedestrian died after being struck by two cars at a busy intersection.
The accident happened at South Campbell and Plainview Road Wednesday night.
Investigators say two drivers hit the pedestrian as they were crossing the street.
The pedestrian died on the way to the hospital.
Their name has not yet been released.
UPDATE:
Police have now identified the person who was killed after being hit by two cars.
Authorities say 45-year-old Christopher Fleming was the man who died Wednesday night in Springfield walking along Campbell Avenue.
Reports say impairment is not suspected in the crash.
