Planned Parenthood to Continue Receiving Public Funding

A ruling from a judge will allow for Planned Parenthood to continue receiving
public funding.

Reports say Cole County Judge Jon Beetem ruled that a state law
ending reimbursements for the nonprofit for Medicare patient healthcare was
unconstitutional.

The state will be required to reimburse Planned Parenthood for
birth control, cancer screenings and other healthcare measures, but not for
abortion.
