Pre-Trial Conference Begins in Strafford Triple Murder

A Strafford man facing first degree murder charges is meeting with prosecutors before the case goes to trial.

50-year-old Jesse Huy faces three counts of first-degree murder and 3 counts of armed criminal action after confessing to killing his wife, 48-year-old Tonya Huy, and her parents Ronald and Linda Koehler in April of 2021.

According to reports, Huy killed the three because they wouldn’t leave his home. After killing the three, reports say Huy called police to inform them that he had killed his wife and her parents, and told dispatchers why he did it.

The pre-trial conference will be a preliminary hearing of sorts, introducing a variety of evidence and documents, etc. before the case heads to court for trial.

Huy has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
