What We Know: The maker space features a 3D printer, laser engraver, and video digitization tools.

What It Means: Branch Manager Tysha Shay says the expansion aims to provide local access to amenities previously only available at larger libraries.

Designed for the community’s future, the full-service facility supports the growing population on western Greene County.

Shay highlighted that libraries provide free spaces for learning and gathering.

The grand opening was held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., which included music, demonstrations, a ribbon-cutting, and family activities. Officials invite residents to explore the new branch while launching the summer reading program.
