Richland Teen Killed In Crash

Highway Patrol Troopers are confirming the death of a 16 year old boy from Richland.

Officers stated Thursday afternoon the boy failed to negotiate a curve on Rawlings Road just south of Swedeborg, causing his pickup to travel off the roadway and hit a tree while he was not wearing a seatbelt.

This marks Highway Patrol Troop I’s 7th fatality in 2024.
