Saturday night, Republican Senator from Texas Ted Cruz headlined a rally in support of Senator Eric Burlison’s Congressional run, and Attorney General Eric Schmitt’s bid for US Senate.
The rally, hosted by the Truth and Courage PAC, and held at Ocean Zen in Springfield, was a packed house at over 400 supporters in attendance.
Cruz doubled down on his endorsements of the two Erics, and touted their legislative records as proof of their conservatism and trustworthiness for the job.
State Representative Ben Baker Emceed the evening, which began with a speech from Burlison, followed by Schmitt, and capped by Cruz.
Both Burlison and Schmitt will be on the August 2nd GOP primary ballot for their respective races.
