The National Weather Service has says chances for severe thunderstorms in the Ozarks Tuesday sit at a marginal risk, while Wednesday is at a enhanced risk.

What We Know: Much of the Ozarks is under a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon into the evening. The risks are primarily for damaging winds up to 60 miles per hour and hail up to the size of golf balls.

There is a much better chance for severe weather Wednesday evening into the overnight hours with large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes possible.

What It Means: Storms are expected to develop across northern Kansas and Missouri, then shift south. If ideal conditions for severe weather develop, significant threats are possible in the far northern Ozarks. Confidence is low for far southern Missouri.
