The National Weather Service in Springfield says there is a good chance for severe weather Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
The greatest chance for storms will be along and west of a line from Branson to Lebanon to Jefferson City, including the Springfield metro area.
The Weather Service is predicting quarter sized hail, 70 mile per hour wind gust, and a few spin-up tornadoes.
Springfield, Branson, Lebanon, Monett, and Osage Beach are expected to see significant amounts of rainfall early Thursday morning.
The National Weather Services has issued a Tornado Watch until 10 PM Wednesday for Barton County and Vernon County.
