Severe Weather in the Ozarks Wednesday Night into Thursday Morning

With temperatures rising up to 100 degrees this afternoon, the chance for thunderstorms and severe weather could possibly follow.

The National Weather Service says isolated thunderstorms will pop up beginning Wednesday night, and more likely into Thursday morning.

The storms will be strong to severe, with wind gusts up to 75 miles per hour, heavy rainfall and possible golf-ball sized hail.

Storm chances will begin around 6 pm, with the highest chance for storms between 10pm Wednesday night until 4am Thursday morning.
