Sexual Assault Charges Emerge From Incidents In The Late 80s

A man from Ozark has now been arrested for sex crimes committed in the 1980s.

Skyler Sheldon, who previously lived in West Plains, is charged with five counts of Sodomy with a victim less than 14 years old, and one count of sexual abuse. In January a victim came forward telling West Plains Police she was sexually assaulted by Sheldon several times between 1986 and 1989.

Two other victims have also came forward telling police Sheldon sexually assaulted them as well
